Oh, come on……

I’ve heard this before.

But this is important. You cant go without cleaning especially during this pandemic.

Ok, like it or not here’s a repeat of what the CDC says about cleaning at home:

· Wear reusable or disposable gloves for routine cleaning and disinfection.

· Clean surfaces using soap and water, then use disinfectant.

· Clean or launder items according to the manufacturer's instructions.

· Wash your hands often with soap and water for 20 seconds.

What should you use to clean with? You should if possible use soapy water and vinegar to clean most surfaces to remove dust and debris. After the initial cleaning use things like disinfecting wipes, Clorox, Lysol, or a store brand. Also, disinfectant sprays, such as Purell, Isopropyl Isopropyl alcohol, and Hydrogen peroxide work well.

The EPA suggests letting the product sit or stay on the surfaces for at least ten minutes. That will kill almost one hundred percent of germs.

When cleaning and disinfecting the following items should be cleaned every day. Drawer and cupboard pull knobs, faucets, toilets (seat and handles), faucets, refrigerator, oven, and microwave handles, game controllers, cell phones, remote controls, dishwasher, oven, microwave handles, computers, table surface, light switches, and I think you get the point. Things that are touched each day

.

To make a disinfectant you can use five tablespoons of 5.25% bleach per gallon of room temperature water or 4 teaspoons of 5.25% bleach per quart of water. This solution will be effective for about 24 hours.
