Oh no.....

The germs are back and a Virus.

Recent surveys revealed that the kitchen is one of the germiest spots in the home. There are reportedly more germs on the kitchen cutting board than there is on your toilet seat. While mentioning the toilet seat did you know that when you flush your toilet with the lid up that bacteria spreads for at least six feet? That could infect your bath and hand towels and even your toothbrush with fecal bacteria. One report says that you will get more E. coli on your face with a home bathroom towel than if you put your face in a toilet and flushed. Gasp!

Don’t do your towel laundry with a cold-water wash. Use hot water and dry towels really well. We at Clean World Maintenance try to help our friends and customers keep abreast of ‘How to clean almost anything’. In keeping with that we suggest that you remember you should change your bathroom towels within three or four days. Why? Because fecal bacteria and a virus love a moist towel.

Next time we will discuss the dangers that hide in your kitchen and how to protect yourself and your family.
