Ok. I’m ready…..

To clean the shower.

Betcha don’t do it very often. Although we may use it every day, we often overlook the need to clean it. So, here’s a couple tips. Clean it at least weekly.

For cleaning grout mix one half cup distilled white vinegar, one half cup ammonia, and three quarts of hot water. Fill a spray bottle with the mixture. Using a bristle brush clean the grout.

For cleaning the shower gather the things you need. A sponge or mesh scrubber, rubber gloves, an old toothbrush, and squeegee. Empty all the contents such as shampoo, soap, razors, and other misc. With a cloth dipped in hot water wipe down the entire shower or use the shower head to wet all the walls. Use a sponge or that mesh scrubber to clean walls and floor.

Mix a little baking soda with vinegar and wipe the floor and plain vinegar to squeegee the walls. This will remove soap scum. If you have a problem with mildew use rubber gloves and dip a sponge into a mixture of one-part chlorine bleach and one-part water. For hard to reach areas use a toothbrush. Let the solution work for about fifteen minutes and scrub lightly with a soft bristle brush. Rinse with plain warm water. Good as new.
