Some things are…..
Really hard to clean up.
How about your dryer vents?
It may sound silly but how often do you think about cleaning your dryer vent?
Your dryer vents can become a fire hazard. There on average over fifteen thousand dryer vent fires every year, some resulting in deaths. So though it is not a major job like above it can prove to be quite a chore. Here are a few tips to help.
Start by unplugging the electricity and shutting off the gas. Begin by pulling off the vent hose and cleaning the dryer hose with a vacuum and cleaning brushes. With a flashlight examine the vent hole (where you most likely will find a softball-sized amount of lint,) Use your vacuum to reach what you can. If you are washing the area behind your dryer use warm water with just a touch of detergent. Soap attracts lint. To be thorough clean the exterior vent as well. Use your hands or a vent cleaning brush while making sure the vent shades are moving freely. Now you can put everything back but check the lint holder one more time. If you have doubts about this process there are many vent-cleaning kits on line. For more suggestions call Clean World Maintenance toll free 800-643-5850 or visit our website at http://cwminc.com
