I Won’t clean…..

….no stinking rain gutters!!

Ever feel like this guy? Hey...it’s a messy, dirty, stinking job and there is no easy way to do it. However, somebody’s gotta do it or you’re likely to drown your dog Shep and have a muddy messy yard.

Let’s start by saying never….never…never get on a ladder without someone riding shotgun. That is holding the ladder. Now you ready? In most cases, a 15-foot ladder will get you up chest high to the gutters. With rubber or work gloves of your choice start digging a handful at a time dropping the gunk on the ground. (Be careful not to drop it on your friend who is holding the ladder). Remember do not lean too far to either side while gathering debris. Instead, move the ladder often to avoid tipping over. When you have removed the leaves etc. as best you can use the garden hose to wash out the remaining gunk and flush it through the down-spouts. Now pick the residue and trash it. All done. Good job.
